We are still actively pursuing the Quarter Horse Field and are moving strongly into the Thoroughbred market. Our goal is to produce between fifteen and twenty foals per year in addition to standing at stud: Atlantic Penn, Monster Winner, Away Fishing, and Sixes Streaking Son. We are expecting ten foals this Spring, so please keep us in your prayers!
CHURCHILL DOWNS has expressed an interest in an Atlanta-based racetrack with around 20 satellite simulcast locations (such as sports bars, resturants) in the state.

The bill to legalize pari-mutuel wagering should be introduced to the House the week of February 1st, 2011.
This House Bill will provide for pari-mutuel wagering to be legalized in Georgia - there are only SIX (6) states that do not have pari-mutuel wagering - and Georgia is way behind on this issue! We are trying to get the Bill passed in the Georgia House and Georgia Senate which would allow pari-mutuel wagering/horse racing to be put on the ballot in the 2012 elections as a Constitutional Amendment. Let Georgians have their say on this!
At least seven jobs in an enormous variety of industry would be created for each horse raced in Georgia. At this time, horses in Georgia must go out of state to be raced. Thousands of horses are trafficked THROUGH our state from Kentucky, New York, West Virginia, Indiana, and Florida - a total of thirty-eight (38) states where horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering are legal. Florida has a $2.2 BILLION DOLLAR HORSE RACING INDUSTRY that, directly or indirectly has provided approximately 51,000 JOBS!!
We need to get on the ball, people! The horse racing industry would bring millions of dollars to our sagging economy and create thousands of jobs. It could only boost the real estate and housing industry, local and state jobs, and generate income for horse owners, horse breeders, jockeys, farmers, farriers, veterinarians, exercise riders, grooms, racing officials, stewards, truck sales, horse trailer sales, etc.. The list encompasses every facet of the equine industry i.e., medications, vaccinations, grooming supplies, feed stores and manufacturers, farrier supplies, fencing and landscaping, motels and restaurants, and the list goes on and on. Horse racing/pari-mutuel wagering could do nothing but exhibit an enormous growth spurt for Georgia education, and discovering new sources of income for the state!
The yearly revenue from pari-mutuel wagering/horse racing would be a boon for Georgians in an economic period where most folks live paycheck to paycheck. The end product of allowing pari-mutuel wagering/horse racing business is more money in our state!
We are aggressively lobbying for passing a House Resolution which would remove the blockage of the right to vote for horse racing/pari-mutuel wagering. Please join us in this this cause! If you own any type of horse in Georgia, don't you want to have the right to vote for or against horses racing/pari-mutuel wagering? If you own or participate in a BUSINESS in Georgia, don't you want the right to vote on this issiue?
A Georgia Breeders Incentive Fund would be established; this program would financially encourage racehorse owners and breeders to breed and race in Georgia. The owner of the dam or the stallion would receive funds if that horse was raced and won at a racetrack in Georgia. This would elevate the equine population vastly and would have a snowball effect on revenue and the economy in this state!
